Roberta is an Italian and British national and became a trustee in January 2021. During her years at UBS, she took part in various initiatives to help younger members from disadvantaged backgrounds to understand what it takes to get a job in finance. After more than 20 years consulting Institutional Investors on Investment Banking research and then Independent Investment research, in 2019 she joined the CDP fundamental research team, to support the spinoff of the research and drive awareness of the TCFD aligned analysis done on the most exposed sectors to climate change. She has since been focusing all her interest on driving climate considerations in fundamental analysis. She currently works for SparkChange a startup focused on understanding financial liabilities arising because of the exposure to regulated carbon markets. She holds an MSc in International Economics, the CFA UK Level 4 Diploma in Investment Management (ESG), and the CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing. She is the chair of the Guild of Investment Managers’ Education Committee and a member of its Membership Committee. She is also an active member of Our Lady and St Joseph RC Church Finance Committee in Hackney.
