I am writing to express my gratitude for the IMC grant.
I am very happy to accept the grant and believe it will make a considerable difference in my career.
I am a 2023 Civil Engineering graduate from Loughborough University and am excited to transition into the investment management industry. To further this goal, I have actively sought out relevant experiences and internships, most recently participating in an investment challenge with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, in partnership with Entrepreneurs in Action. However, without an economics background, I have struggled to fully showcase my potential in the industry. I believe this qualification will illustrate my passion, interest and growing knowledge of investment management and be instrumental in finding a graduate level role in the industry.
By awarding me this grant, you have supported my career journey and provided the resources to obtain a qualification I would not have otherwise been able to afford. I hope to stay in close contact with the Trust and share my experiences with your membership at their convenience. I also hope to contribute to the Trust where possible and pay forward what has been given to me. Thank you once again for your support.
