Inter-Livery Pancake Race 2026

Watch Master Fyona Knight compete in this traditional Shrove Tuesday inter-Livery charity race against other Company Masters (in full regalia!).

The inter-livery pancake race is a unique event where many participating Companies contribute their own distinctive touch. The Gunmakers, for instance, initiate each race, while the Clockmakers meticulously time the heats. The Fruiterers add a zesty twist by providing lemons to accompany the traditional pancakes while the eggs themselves come from the Poulterers. The Glovers supply the white gloves worn by competitors.

This beloved competition is now in its 17th year! Tasty pancakes will be on sale for spectators, which will raise funds for charitable causes. Come and watch us compete for the coveted frying pan trophy!
