Booking will open soon for the Annual City Livery Concert and Reception at the Barbican Centre! This special evening celebrates the vibrant arts and culture within the Square Mile and is the London Symphony Orchestra’s way of thanking the City’s companies, clubs, and guilds for their invaluable support of world-class music.
Concert Programme:
- Benjamin Britten | Violin Concerto
- Interval
- Dmitri Shostakovich | Symphony No 10
Performers:
- Sir Antonio Pappano  | conductor
- Vilde Frang  | violin
- London Symphony Orchestra
We warmly invite all Guild members, their families, and associates to enjoy an evening featuring two powerful orchestral works. Sir Antonio Pappano, in his second season as Chief Conductor of the LSO, will be joined by the exceptional violinist Vilde Frang, who brings her technicality and virtuosity to Britten’s Violin Concerto.
Don’t miss this key annual event – a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the arts and culture in the City and acknowledge the LSO’s incredible contributions right on our doorstep. The Master will be attending on the night and hopes to see many Guild members and their guests there!
IMPORTANT: Guild Attendance & Pre-Concert Drinks RSVP
While concert tickets must be booked directly through the LSO, the Guild is planning a pre-concert gathering for our members and their guests.
To help us organise these pre-concert drinks, please RSVP via this page by September 17th once you have booked your tickets. This will allow us to finalise arrangements and ensure we can connect with fellow Guild members before the main event.
The concert ticket booking link is below. We look forward to seeing you there!
