Building Financial Foundations: Investment Literacy for the 16+
Chaired by Guild Committee Member, Veronique Morel-Kane, Head of International Investment at Peregrine & Black AM, a panel of experts from education and investment management will discuss the challenges and opportunities to equip the next generation with the financial knowledge and skills necessary for achieving long-term financial independence.
Our panellists are:
- Kanan Barot – former specialist in project & change management in financial services and now business lecturer at Bayes Business School and City St George’s University
- Jenny Barber – Director of Careers & Talent at Investment 20/20. Master award, Company of Educators in 2014 for her work on apprenticeships and vocational education.
- James Campbell-Johnston – Divisional Director at RBC Brewin Dolphin and panellist for the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment’s Private Client exam.
The £20 charge for this event will be directly donated to our charity, Investment Managers Charitable Trust, which offers bursaries to young people wishing to have a career in investment management but do not have the financial means or connections to study for an entry-level qualification. It also provides vital assistance to City of London charities nominated by the Lord Mayor. Your contribution will make a tangible difference to both individuals and our community. Thank you.
