Coopers’ Cask Race 2026: Register your interest in being part of our team!

Teams will be invited to work on perfecting their barrel-rolling technique from 8:30am with the official race festivities commencing at 9:30am. The competition will begin with heats, and will lead up to the Grand Final race at around midday.

For your safety and comfort, gloves will be provided to each participant on the day of the race. However, please dress suitably for thie very physical activity.

We are looking for Members to join our team to race against other Livery Companies and City teams to win the esteemed title of Cask Racing Champions 2026! If you think you have what it takes to roll a beer barrel with speed and precision, we want to hear from you!

The Worshipful Company of Coopers has invited the Guild to participate in the fourth annual Cask Race on Saturday 4th July 2026 in Guildhall Yard. We are looking for four Guild members to form a team and represent the Guild for a morning filled with spirited fun, friendly (and fierce) competition.
