Coopers’ Cask Race 2025: Be part of our team!

Join our 4-person team and race against other Livery Companies and City teams to win the esteemed title of Cask Racing Champions 2025!

The Worshipful Company of Coopers has invited the Guild to participate in the fourth annual Cask Race on Saturday 21st June 2025 in Guildhall Yard. We are looking for four Guild members to form a team and represent the Guild for a morning filled with spirited fun, friendly (and fierce) competition. The winning team will earn the coveted title of Cask Racing Champions 2025! Read about the 2024 race here, and the 2023 race here.

Teams will be invited to work on perfecting their barrel-rolling technique from 8:30am with the official race festivities commencing at 9:30am. The competition will begin with heats, and will lead up to the Grand Final race at around midday. Participants are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event by wearing fancy or team attire!

For your safety and comfort, gloves will be provided to each participant on the day of the race. However, please dress suitably for thie very physical activity – comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear will be essential
